Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Fiedel Castro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Pete (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Castro tries for a takedown but Pete circles away easily

and Pete counters by clinching up.

Pete pulls guard effortlessly.

Castro throws a strike but Pete rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Castro looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Pete has picked Castro up and slammed him! Castro can't keep hold of the triangle and Pete manages to pass to side control!
Castro tries to bench press Pete off him but Pete keeps the position.
Castro is working hard here to advance position.
Pete cracks Castro with a big elbow.
Castro is not content to let Pete control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Castro tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Pete wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Castro is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Pete off and has taken his back!
Pete is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Castro off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.

Castro is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Castro will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
