The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Refn enables Pholus to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Refn manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Pholus postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pholus trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Pholus connects with a couple of short punches.
Refn keeping moving, preventing Pholus from controlling successfully.
Pholus sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Refn's guard.
Refn wants to get back to full guard.
Refn is looking to control Pholus's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Refn avoid being mounted?
Refn tries to roll over but Pholus keeps him under control.

Pholus not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Refn tries to kick Pholus off but Pholus keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pholus stalling.
Refn is pressing down on Pholus's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Pholus throws a big elbow that misses.
Pholus is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Refn is trying to hold Pholus in close to prevent damage but Pholus has managed to pass into half guard.
Refn is staying active underneath Pholus, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Pholus passes to full mount!

Pholus lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Refn! Pholus sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Refn and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!
