Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Maxim Zavalishin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chaun Lepre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Maxim Zavalishin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chaun Lepre!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Dillan Fox and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zavalishin chopping away at his opponent's legs.

Crunch! Zavalishin slams his shin into Lepre's torso.
Zavalishin buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Lepre closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Zavalishin to the mat! Zavalishin manages to get full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Lepre drops back looking for a leg! Zavalishin is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Zavalishin manages to kick Lepre off! Lepre jumps back into Zavalishin's guard.

Lepre got a little sloppy there for a moment and Zavalishin has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Lepre has managed to get both his arms back between Zavalishin's legs - danger averted.
Zavalishin is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Zavalishin wants to get back to his feet but Lepre is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Lepre gets to his feet. Zavalishin looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Lepre tries to clinch there but Zavalishin circles away.
Lepre on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Zavalishin lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

Zavalishin is pulling down on Lepre's head to control his posture.
Zavalishin is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Lepre's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Maxim Zavalishin is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Lepre has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Zavalishin.
Lepre tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Zavalishin fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Lepre has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Zavalishin lands a brutal head kick. Lepre looks out on his feet and Zavalishin throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!

After winning the bout, Maxim Zavalishin thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
