The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Richman fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Wolf checks it well. Wolf keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Richman. Wolf blocks a head kick by Richman.
Richman throws a hook to the side of Wolf's head but Wolf sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Wolf defending well as Richman loads up on a big left hand. Richman tries a head kick but it misses.
Richman loads up on a big right hand but Wolf slips the punch. Wolf moves away from the strike by Richman. Wolf blocks a head kick by Richman.
Richman looks to land a right hand but Wolf moved out of range. Richman looks to land a left hand but Wolf moved out of range nicely. Wolf clinches up against the cage. Richman tries to pull guard but Wolf forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Wolf has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Richman regains guard immediately.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wolf landing with the ground and pound. Richman utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Richman is trying to control the position but Wolf postures up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wolf gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Richman gets caught flat footed, as Wolf shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Wolf postures up in Richman's guard and throws a big left but Richman blocks it. Wolf postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Wolf throwing strikes but missing. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Wolf throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wolf postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Wolf working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Wolf throws a strike but Richman rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Wolf lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Richman! Wolf punishing his opponent with strikes. Wolf lands with some strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wolf in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
