Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Crash Bandicoot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jakobi Smithy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bandicoot kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Crash Bandicoot: Jungle Rollers Remix. Smithy has chosen Korn- Freak on a Leash as his entrance music. Crash Bandicoot could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jakobi Smithy's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
16 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Crash Bandicoot!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

13 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Jakobi Smithy!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bandicoot tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Smithy counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
A slapping leg kick lands for Smithy.
Smithy gets caught napping as Bandicoot dives in and scores a takedown. Smithy manages to retain guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Smithy tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Bandicoot drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Smithy dives on top into guard.

Bandicoot is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Smithy is aware though and is defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Smithy is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Bandicoot has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Smithy can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Bandicoot has his foot on Smithy's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Smithy works his way back into a safe position though.
Bandicoot escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Smithy gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Smithy seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Smithy wanted to stand there but Bandicoot had control of the position.
Smithy chips away with some ground and pound.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Jakobi Smithy wasn't active enough on the ground.
Bandicoot has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Smithy finds it's way round the side to connect with Bandicoot's head.
Smithy scoring well with a low kick there.
A slapping leg kick lands for Smithy.
Bandicoot dives in and grabs Smithy's left leg, looking for a takedown. Smithy pushes down on Bandicoot's head and hops out.
Smithy lands with a nice body kick.
Smithy avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Bandicoot misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Smithy feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Bandicoots jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
It looks like Crash Bandicoot has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Smithy connects with a solid leg kick.
Bandicoot is breathing heavily.
Good standup being displayed there by Smithy as he connects with a hook.
Smithy lands a nice leg kick that just misses Bandicoot's sensitive parts.
Smithy digs a good body shot into Bandicoot's ribs.

Jakobi Smithy is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Smithy lands a nice shot that snaps Bandicoot's head back.
Smithy lands with a right hand.
Smithy thuds his shin into the meat of Bandicoot's side.
Bandicoot tries to clinch up
and Smithy counters with a stiff right hand.
Crash Bandicoot's cut is getting worse.
Bandicoot doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Bandicoot takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Smithy scores with a body shot.
Smithy connects with the punch.
Smithy throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Bandicoot chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Smithy can pounce on him.
Bandicoot on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Smithy lands a big right hand that sends Bandicoot crashing to the mat! Smithy stays standing though and waves Bandicoot back to his feet!
Bandicoot is rocked!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Smithy lands with a nice body punch.
Oh Bandicoot is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Smithy cracks Bandicoot on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Bandicoot falls backwards against the cage. Smithy follows up with more strikes that drop Bandicoot to his knees. Smithy keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Bandicoot! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jakobi Smithy!
An out of breath Jakobi Smithy thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
