The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heininger fails to land the takedown.
Lazovich darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Lazovich is looking for a kimura but Heininger is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Lazovich to get the leverage.
Lazovich is thwarting Heininger's attempts to control the position.
Heininger really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lazovich. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Heininger tries to get to full guard but Lazovich has control of the leg.

Lazovich postures up and throws a big right hand. BOOM! Right on the button! Heininger is out cold - huge knockout for Lazovich!
