Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Okimitsu Fujii!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bruce Lee!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Fujii counters with a head kick.
Lee shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Fujii sprawls well. Fujii wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Lee gets slowly back to his feet.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Lee is defended easily by Fujii.
Lee doesn't manage to clinch there - Fujii circles away.
A head kick misses from Lee.
Fujii throws a right and a left that both miss.
Lee misses with a left hand
and Fujii counters with a head kick that wobbles Lee - left then right he sways and one more bomb from Fujii sends him down. This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Okimitsu Fujii!
