Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rex Botic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Floyd Mayweather Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Eliza Hachem and Damien Edna.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Botic shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Mayweather Jr makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Botic closes the distance and clinches up with Mayweather Jr, looking for a takedown. Botic pushes Mayweather Jr against the cage but Mayweather Jr circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Mayweather Jr wants to get back to his feet but Botic is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Botic tries to free his leg and advance position but Mayweather Jr is retaining full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mayweather Jr has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Botic off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Mayweather Jr displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Botic.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rex Botic. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Botic is trying hard to land a takedown here. Mayweather Jr sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Mayweather Jr misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Botic shoots for a double leg takedown but Mayweather Jr sprawls well. He's pushed Botic's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Botic stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mayweather Jr swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Mayweather Jr is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Botic postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Mayweather Jr is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Botic, into his guard.
Botic is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Botic is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Mayweather Jr is just riding it out for now. Botic eventually gives up the hold.
Mayweather Jr wants to get back to his feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Botic is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Botic is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Mayweather Jr defends it well.

Botic maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Mayweather Jr could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Botic has cracked it and Mayweather Jr is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Botic!
