The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Degrizz displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Wellington.

and Degrizz counters with a crisp right hand that drops Wellington! Degrizz lets Wellington back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Wellington is still on wobbly legs! Can Degrizz finish him?
Wellington shoots in looking for a takedown but Degrizz manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Wellington's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Wellington seems to have recovered his senses.
Jim Degrizz is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Degrizz keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Degrizz leaves Wellington with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
William Wellington seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Wellington rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Degrizz moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
