Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Craig Potz ! The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Hugh Johnson and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Potz wants to clinch up but Carose keeps it at a distance. The fight stays on the outside here - Potz looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Carose feints and as Potz raises his hands in defense, Carose changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Carose passes into half guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Potz can do anything to dispel that myth. Potz trying to hold on to Carose's head to control him but Carose postures up.
Carose thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Carose not doing much here.

Kinny Carose has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Potz tries to clinch up but Carose circles away and keeps his distance. Carose closes this distance looking for a takedown but Potz circles away. Potz is looking to clinch but Carose is avoiding it.
Craig Potz is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Potz fails in his attempt to clinch. Carose avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Potz moves in looking to clinch but Carose pushes him off. Potz tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Carose manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Carose circles away from the clinch attempt.
Carose will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Potz just misses with a elbow thrown towards Carose's brow. Carose dodges an elbow strike from Potz .

It looks like Kinny Carose has been cut. Potz lands an elbow just above Carose 's eye. Carose avoids a wild elbow strike from Potz . Potz gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Carose blocks the elbow strike.
