Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ignas Morkius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones has chosen 2nd Sucks- ADTR as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Jay Jones told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Illya Tyunina and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Morkius defends it nicely.
Jones will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Morkius dives in and grabs Jones's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jones pushes down on Morkius's head and hops out.
Morkius throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Jones was covering up waiting for the punch and Morkius finishes the takedown easily into guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Morkius looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jones is fending him off so far but Morkius persists. Nope, Jones circles away and we're back to standing.

Morkius tries to bum rush Jones with a series of wild strikes but Jones uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Morkius closes the distance and clinches up with Jones, looking for a takedown. Morkius pushes Jones against the cage but Jones circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Jones shoots in for a takedown but Morkius shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Morkius drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

That was a close second round but I would say that Ignas Morkius will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Jones gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Morkius makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Morkius shoots in for a double leg but Jones sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Jones doesn't manage to clinch there - Morkius circles away.
Horrible takedown by Jones or perhaps it was just good defense by Morkius which made him look bad.
