PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lex Luther (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeffrey Lebowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lebowski has chosen VHB - Freedom Fighter as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Luther jabs Lebowski to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Lebowski throws a hook to the side of Luther's head but Luther sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Lebowski throws a nice looking combination but Luther bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Luther wants to clinch up but Lebowski keeps it at a distance.
Luther looks to score with a jab to the body but Lebowski is just out of range.
Lebowski fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Luther has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

and Lebowski connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Luther takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

It looks like Jeffrey Lebowski has been cut.
Lebowski lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Lebowski.

Luther chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Lebowski can pounce on him.
Lebowski throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Luther on the side of the head.
Luther gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Lebowski tries to keep at a distance but Luther has taken the fight into the clinch.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Luther walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Lebowski checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Lebowski lands a nice shot that snaps Luther's head back.

Lebowski fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Luther looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Luther is rocked!
Luther looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
Lebowski lands a lovely overhand right.
Oh Luther is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Lebowski lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Luther throws a wild hook but Lebowski just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Luther gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Lebowski raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
