The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riseman thuds a left hand into Sobolev's body.
Riseman misses with a wild combination.
Sobolev closes this distance looking for a takedown but Riseman circles away.
Riseman moves away from the strike by Sobolev.
Riseman throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Riseman lands a front kick.
Sobolev shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Riseman sprawls well. Riseman wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Sobolev gets slowly back to his feet.
Sobolev takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Riseman connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Sobolev misses with a few strikes there.
Riseman throws a solid leg kick but Sobolev takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Riseman.
A slow jab from Sobolev misses its intended target.
Riseman scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Sobolev looks winded!
Sobolev takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
It looks like Vasiliy Sobolev has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Riseman swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Sobolev misses with a few strikes there.
Riseman drops Sobolev with a beautiful combination! Sobolev stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Riseman is looking for the KO!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Riseman throws a right and a left that Sobolev avoids nicely.
Oooooh!!! Riseman has knocked Sobolev down with a huge combo! Riseman steps away and waves a wobbly Sobolev back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Sobolev is rocked!
Riseman is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Sobolev hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
