Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, You Got Clinched!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, James Lee!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Tiny Johnson and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Clinched moves into the clinch successfully.
Clinched tries to throw a body punch but Lee avoids it by throwing Clinched back against the cage.
Clinched lands a nice elbow.


It looks like James Lee has been cut.
Clinched prevents Lee from breaking the clinch.

Lee manages to break the clinch.
Clinched wants to clinch but Lee slips to the side
and Lee counters with a good low kick that Clinched was not able to check.
Lee dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Lee throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Clinched.

Clinched drives through and clinches with Lee against the cage.

Lee breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Clinched avoids the head kick by Lee.
Clinched misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Lee throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Clinched throws a low kick but it's checked well by Lee.
Lee goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Clinched avoids the body shot from Lee.
Clinched misses with a low kick.
Lee looks to score with a jab to the body but Clinched is just out of range.
Clinched really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

That has opened up James Lee's cut even more.
Clinched misses with a knee strike.
Lee wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Clinched has him pressed against the cage.

Clinched pushes off an throws an elbow but Lee leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

A head punch on the inside from Clinched fails to land.
Clinched swings wildly with an uppercut but Lee uses good head movement to avoid it.
Clinched scores with a knee to the head.
Lee is trying to push Clinched away but Clinched has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Clinched landing knees to the body.
Clinched tries to land a knee to the head but Lee blocks with his arms.

Lee breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

and Lee counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Lee lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Clinched tries to close the distance and clinch but Lee swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Donk. Lee catches Clinched right on the button with a cross.
Clinched is looking to clinch.
Good exchange - Lee coming out on top.
Lee jabs Clinched right on the nose. Clinched blinks but takes it well.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lee throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Clinched is breathing heavily.
A solid body kick from Lee.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Lee moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Lee throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Clinched doesn't manage to clinch there - Lee circles away.
Clinched throws a sloppy head kick and Lee moves out of range easily.
Lee circles away from the clinch attempt
and Lee cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.


Clinched is rocked!
Lee throws a monster overhand right that drops Clinched! Lee follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). James Lee!
A less than humble James Lee misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
