Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeff Monsoon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jokno Jusone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jeff Monsoon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jokno Jusone! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Monsoon looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jusone is fending him off so far but Monsoon persists. Nope, Jusone circles away and we're back to standing. Monsoon fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Monsoon throws a body kick that misses. A head kick misses from Monsoon. Monsoon could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Monsoon fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Jusone sprawls well initially but Monsoon persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Jusone is looking for a sweep. Monsoon is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Monsoon trying to mount his opponent but Jusone defends it. Monsoon is working for a kimura but Jusone is defending it quite comfortably.
Jusone is trying to get back to full guard. Monsoon wants to pass the guard but Jusone is defending well. Jusone wants to get back to full guard. Monsoon uses his free foot to push down on Jusone's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Jusone. Monsoon is working for a guillotine from mount but Jusone frees his head quite easily.

Monsoon has hold of Jusone's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Jusone manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Jusone tries to reverse the position but Monsoon maintains control. Monsoon has control of Jusone's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Jusone regains control of the situation pretty easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Monsoon is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Jusone is surviving well by controlling Monsoon's body position as best he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Jusone can't escape the position.
Jusone prevents Monsoon from taking his back. Monsoon wants to finish this one by submission but Jusone is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Monsoon. Monsoon is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Jusone has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Monsoon jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Jusone manages to avoid the submission attempt. Monsoon tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Jusone regains half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Monsoon looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Monsoon is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Jusone gets full guard. Jusone looking to hit a scissor sweep but Monsoon is one step ahead there. Monsoon pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jusone is keeping the position for now. Monsoon is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Jusone looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Jusone had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Monsoon is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Jusone Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Monsoon's back instead. Jusone is looking for the choke from the back position but Monsoon is controlling his hands well. Monsoon rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Monsoon is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Jusone's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Jusone's back! Monsoon is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Jusone with him. Jusone is trying to defend but Monsoon has an arm under the chin now! Jusone grimaces and is forced to tap out!
