Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ian Dempster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anton Lundstrom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Lundstrom's choice of entrance music: Pantera - Walk. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Anton Lundstrom!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Jonathan Paton and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dempster drives through with a takedown into guard.
Lundstrom looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Dempster trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Dempster is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Lundstrom keeping full guard, as Dempster tries to pass.
Dempster with a flurry of punches that miss.
Dempster knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lundstrom on the ground.
Dempster stands up and waves to Lundstrom to follow him.

Dempster is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Dempster not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Dempster gets to his feet - Lundstrom follows without any prompting.
Dempster shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Dempster tries to free his leg and advance position but Lundstrom is retaining full guard.
Dempster is looking to stand up but Lundstrom won't let him.
Dempster trying to control the position from guard on top but Lundstrom is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Dempster content to stall in guard here.
Dempster seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Lundstrom for as long as he can get away with.

Dempster is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Lundstrom is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Lundstrom has escaped and now he's on top!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Lundstrom is pushing down on Dempster's leg trying to pass to half guard. Dempster is fighting to maintain full guard but Lundstrom has managed to sneak the leg through.
Lundstrom wants to free his trapped foot but Dempster is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Lundstrom is trying to control the action in half guard but Dempster is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Dempster is looking for a sweep. Lundstrom is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Lundstrom trying to pass the guard but Dempster defending well.
Dempster trying to control here.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Lundstrom in particular looking to stall.
Lundstrom wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dempster keeps working.
Dempster makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Dempster.
Lundstrom trying to control but Dempster is working from the bottom.
Dempster doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Dempster looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Dempster throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Dempster controls Lundstrom momentarily but Lundstrom frees himself.
Lundstrom drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Lundstrom jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Dempster fails with an attempt to clinch.
Whack! Dempster lands a heavy head kick that drops Lundstrom. The ref tackles Dempster to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Lundstrom was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Ian Dempster!
