Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Henry Ngo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ikuhisa Minowa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ikuhisa Minowa will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Henry Ngo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ikuhisa Minowa! The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Eliza Hachem and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ngo shoots for a takedown but Minowa saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Minowa shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ngo but Ngo pushes him off and we're back to square one. Ngo shoots and misses and Minowa counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Ngo shoots in for a takedown but Minowa shows good takedown defense. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Henry Ngo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ngo shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Ngo shoots for a takedown but Minowa saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Ngo gets the takedown into side control. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Ngo trying to control the position but Minowa is working away. Minowa is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Minowa is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Minowa has a hand on Ngo's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Ngo takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Ngo lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Minowa hang on? Ngo working the ground and pound effectively.
Minowa is looking to improve his position but Ngo isn't that keen on the idea. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Minowa regains half guard. Ngo seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ngo is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Ngo is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Ngo controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Ngo is working Minowa over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Minowa is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Minowa utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Ngo cracks Minowa with a solid left hand. Minowa looking to sweep here. No luck so far. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Minowa looking for a guillotine here but Ngo defends easily.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Ngo passes into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Minowa makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Minowa. Minowa wants to sweep here but Ngo controlling him for the moment. Ngo trying to control but Minowa is working from the bottom. Ngo showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Ngo postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Ngo trying to control but Minowa is working from the bottom. Minowa looking to hit a scissor sweep but Ngo is one step ahead there.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Henry Ngo just wasn't active enough. Ngo tries to clinch up but Minowa circles away and keeps his distance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Minowa looks for a takedown but Ngo sprawls well. Minowa swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Nice cross by Minowa. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Minowa fails with an attempt to clinch.
Ngo fails with a takedown attempt. Ngo dives in and grabs Minowa's left leg, looking for a takedown. Minowa pushes down on Ngo's head and hops out. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Minowa rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ngo moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Ngo scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Ngo misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Minowa.
Ngo wants to clinch up but Minowa keeps it at a distance. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Henry Ngo dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Ngo shoots in but Minowa avoids the takedown attempt easily. Ngo lands a jab to the head.

Ngo shoots in looking for a takedown but Minowa manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ngo's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. No luck for Ngo with that takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Henry Ngo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ngo shoots for a takedown but Minowa saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Ngo closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Henry Ngo overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Ngo wants to lay and pray for a moment but Minowa keeps working. Ngo lands some shots froms side control. Ngo tries for a kimura but Minowa is defending well. Minowa tries to improve position but can't. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Minowa is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Ngo off and has taken his back!
That's one minute gone in the round. Minowa throwing lazy shots from the back mount that aren't doing any damage. Minowa keeps control of the position as Ngo tries to break free.

Ngo is sitting in close to Minowa's body. Minowa has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Ngo is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Ngo is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Minowa.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:50 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Ikuhisa Minowa! A relieved looking Ikuhisa Minowa thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
