Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Trent Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tat Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Taylor's choice of entrance music: Im on my Level. Tat Taylor has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Trent Allen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tat Taylor! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Taylor scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Allen on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Taylor shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Allen but Allen pushes him off and we're back to square one. Allen misses with a left hand and Taylor counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Allen thinking. Allen misses with a body shot.
Taylor throws a leg kick but Allen sees it coming and moves out of range. Allen scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Allen throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Allen wants to pass to mount but Taylor is defending the position. Allen performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Taylor is trying to stand up here but Allen is controlling him well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Allen landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Allen prevents Taylor from standing back up.
Allen throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Allen trying to control the action but Taylor is working from the bottom. Allen winds up and cracks Taylor with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Allen wants to lay and pray for a moment but Taylor keeps working. Allen thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Allen is nestled in close to Taylor, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Taylor is trying to stand.
Allen has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Allen performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Taylor is trying to stand.
Allen looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Taylor wants to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Allen working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Allen tries to pass to full mount but Taylor defends it. Taylor is not content to let Allen control the position. Taylor kicks off Allen and gets to his feet. Allen swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Allen takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Taylor tries to clinch but Allen is having none of it. Taylor will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Taylor moves forwards but Allen connects with a nice, crisp jab. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Allen thows a body shot but no joy. Taylor keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Taylor looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Taylor controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Taylor wants to stand but Allen is controlling his posture from full guard. Allen trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Taylor stands and throws Allen's legs to the side, diving into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Taylor wants to lay and pray for a moment but Allen keeps working. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Taylor wants to control for a moment but Allen uses the opportunity to move back to half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Taylor wants to take a breather but Allen is having none of it. Taylor throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Taylor missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Allen is refusing to be controlled, as Taylor sits in half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Allen keeping control of the position. Taylor is looking to stand up but he'll have to free his leg first. Instead, Allen manages to get to full guard. Taylor trying to control the position from guard on top but Allen is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Tat Taylor has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Taylor shoots in for a double leg but Allen sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. A swing and a miss from Allen. Allen on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Taylor keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Taylor fails to land the takedown. Taylor closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Allen is looking to control Taylor's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Allen avoid being mounted? Taylor slips a nice elbow through Allen's hands, connecting with Allen's forehead. Taylor wants to control but Allen is keeping him busy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Allen gets full guard. Taylor stands up from guard. Let's bang! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Allen listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Taylor blocks a jab. Taylor walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Allen checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Taylor attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Allen checks a leg kick. Nice defenses there by Taylor. Taylor displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Allen throws out the jab. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Taylor closes the distance and clinches up with Allen, looking for a takedown. Taylor pushes Allen against the cage but Allen circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Trent Allen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tat Taylor. Taylor misses with the combination.

Tat Taylor showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

A decent looking cross lands there for Allen. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Allen checks a leg kick. Allen waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Taylor. Taylor keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Allen. Allen lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Taylor fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Allen checks the leg kick. Allen shoots for a takedown but Taylor saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Taylor is looking to clinch. Allen misses the shot to the body. Allen digs a good hook to Taylor's body.
Taylor connects with a body shot that sends Allen's belly button to the back. Taylor looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Allen throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Taylor sees it coming and avoids it easily. A jab from Allen misses. Taylor doesn't manage to clinch there - Allen circles away.
Taylor throws a jab but it's blocked by Allen. A jab from Allen misses. Allen shoots for a double leg takedown but Taylor sprawls well. He's pushed Allen's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Allen misses with a body shot.
Allen takes a swing at Taylor's ribcage but misses. Good shot there by Allen. Taylor defending well as Allen loads up on a big left hand. Allen lands with an overhand left. Allen throws an overhand right that lands on Taylor's shoulder, as Taylor tries to avoid the shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Taylor looks to throw the jab but Allen is out of range. Taylor tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Allen manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Allen misses with an uppercut. Taylor saw that one coming. Taylor tries to move into range but Allen moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Allen avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Taylor throws a low kick but Allen avoids it. A nice combination there by Taylor.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Taylor lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Taylor tries to clinch but Allen moves out of range. Allen misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Taylor.

Taylor pushes Allen away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Allen gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Allen is looking to take a break and control but Taylor is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Allen looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Taylor is avoiding damage well.
Taylor is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Allen asserts his dominance and retains side control. Trent Allen overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Taylor managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Allen.

Taylor wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Allen lands a few punches from side control. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Taylor tries to escape but Allen is in control.
