Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Thu Pham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tomasz Kowalski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kowalski has chosen Two Steps From Hell - Heart of Courage (Extended Version) as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Thu Pham! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tomasz Kowalski! The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pham shoots in and gets a takedown into Kowalski's guard. Pham throwing strikes but missing. Kowalski is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Pham thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Pham has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Kowalski keeping full guard, as Pham tries to pass. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Kowalski is on top in guard.
Pham is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kowalski defends well. Kowalski thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Pham throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

That's one minute gone in the round. Kowalski is fighting to break Pham's control of his arms but Pham is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Pham might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Pham working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kowalski doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kowalski manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Pham looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Kowalski gets to his feet - Pham follows without any prompting. Pham defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Kowalski. Pham shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Kowalski is trying to defend but Pham finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Kowalski trying to control from the bottom.
Pham is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Pham lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Kowalski is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Pham not landing any meaningful shots this time. Pham maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Kowalski could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Pham has cracked it and Kowalski is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Pham!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Thu Pham! After the fight, Thu Pham was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
