Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jason Li (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Les Sobrante (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sobrante comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Primus - Fisticuffs kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Li fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Sobrante sprawls well initially but Li persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Sobrante is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Sobrante is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Li is surviving well by controlling Sobrante's body position as best he can.

Sobrante jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Li is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Li and Sobrante has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Sobrante has hold of Li's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Li tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Sobrante cranks the arm and Li screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Li, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
