Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jose Da Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dane Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jose Da Silva! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dane Kane! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kane shoots in for a double leg but Da Silva sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Kane shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Da Silva is trying to defend but Kane finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Kane is trying to work for a kimura but Da Silva is defending well.
Da Silva might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Kane is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Da Silva gets back to full guard.
Da Silva is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Da Silva looking to control.
Kane is stalling in the full guard. Kane postures up.
Kane must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Kane tries to free his leg and advance position but Da Silva is retaining full guard. Da Silva is looking for a triangle but Kane pushes his legs off easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Da Silva manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kane manages to get himself to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kane pulls Da Silva in close to prevent any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kane keeping moving, preventing Da Silva from controlling successfully. Da Silva's corner is telling him to maintain position. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Da Silva gets caught napping as Kane dives in and scores a takedown. Da Silva manages to retain guard. Kane controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Da Silva controls Kane momentarily but Kane frees himself. Da Silva had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kane defends it easily. Da Silva keeping moving, preventing Kane from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kane throws an elbow that misses. Da Silva uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Kane's guard. Nice move by Da Silva! Kane trying to control the position here. Da Silva wants to control from the top but Kane keeps moving. Kane looking to hit a scissor sweep but Da Silva is one step ahead there. Kane is trying to keep Da Silva in close.
That's four minutes gone in the round. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Da Silva preventing the sweep.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Dane Kane hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Kane throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Da Silva was covering up waiting for the punch and Kane finishes the takedown easily into guard. Kane controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Kane trying to control the position from guard on top but Da Silva is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kane throws an elbow that misses. Da Silva uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Kane's guard. Nice move by Da Silva! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Dane Kane will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Kane misses with an attempted mid kick.
Da Silva closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Da Silva in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Kane is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:32 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Jose Da Silva!
