Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dave Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justin Colver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Miller comes to the cage accompanied by The Downfall Of Us All. Justin Colver is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dave Miller! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Justin Colver! The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Donk. Miller catches Colver right on the button with a cross. Miller shoots in for a takedown but Colver shows good takedown defense. Some wild striking there from Miller.
Miller scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Miller thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Colver's head. Colver is looking for a sweep. Miller is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Miller is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Colver doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Miller. Colver is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Miller is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Colver tries to roll over but Miller keeps him under control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Colver looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Colver looks gassed! Colver wants to get back to full guard but Miller has passed into side control. Miller trying to control but Colver is having none of it. Miller lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

BOOM! Miller connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Miller looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Miller with good strikes from the mount here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Miller wants to control the pace but Colver is squirming around nicely. Colver is in all sorts of trouble here.
Miller trying to control but he's not successful this time. Colver regains half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Miller sitting and controlling from the half guard. Miller is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Miller trying to mount his opponent but Colver defends it. Colver is in trouble now - Miller has advanced to mount! Miller cracks Colver with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Colver is desperately trying to improve his position but Miller has a good base and remains in mount. Colver throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing. Colver defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Miller. Colver is in all sorts of trouble here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Miller is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Colver has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Colver sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Colver is pressing down on Miller's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Colver tries to land a sweep but no joy. Colver bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Miller's guard. Colver with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Colver postures up.
Colver slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dave Miller dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Miller. Colver throws a combination that misses and Miller counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Miller working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Miller drops down looking for an ankle pick but Colver pulls his leg out and moves away.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Miller misses with a combination
and Colver counters with a one-two to the body. Dave Miller is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Miller throws a jab but it's blocked by Colver. Miller misses with a body shot.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

No joy there for Colver, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Nice takedown defense from Miller. No joy for Colver on that attempt. Colver throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Miller counters with a one-two to the body. Miller is looking to clinch but Colver is avoiding it.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Colver is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Miller is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Colver throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Miller works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure. Miller looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Miller is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Colver scores with a couple of nice shots. Colver is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Colver is looking to advance position but Miller won't allow it. Colver looks to land a strike but Miller avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Miller is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Colver landing some decent shots from guard. Colver trying to control but Miller is working from the bottom. Colver looking to pass the guard. Colver wants to stand but Miller is controlling his posture from full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Miller is looking to clinch. Miller scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Colver is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Miller scores with a couple of nice shots. Miller knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Colver on the ground. Colver regains full guard. Nicely done. Miller wants to control from the top but Colver keeps moving. Colver has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Miller can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Miller gets to his feet - Colver follows without any prompting. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Justin Colver showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Miller throws a jab when Colver was well out of range. Colver stuffs the takedown. Miller swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Miller gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Colver counters with a nice double leg into guard. Colver pushing down on Miller's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Colver drops an elbow to the side of Miller's head. Colver works his foot free and advances to mount. Colver working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Miller is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Colver is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Colver!
