Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mark Walter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kai Urutaka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Walter comes to the cage accompanied by Black Sabbath - War Pigs . Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mark Walter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Kai Urutaka! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Walter misses with the combination.
Walter connects with a body shot. Urutaka fails with a takedown attempt. Walter tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A leg kick checked by Walter. Walter circles away from the clinch attempt.
Walter swats away the attempt to clinch by Urutaka. Urutaka thows a body shot but no joy. Urutaka misses with a hook. Walter ducked under it nicely. Walter avoids a kick to the body.
Sloppy strikes from Walter. Those never looked like landing. Urutaka swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Walter shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Urutaka eats them both and turns towards Walter to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Urutaka misses the shot to the body. Walter misses with a two punch combination.
Urutaka lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Urutaka.
It looks like Mark Walter has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Walter swinging wildly here.
Urutaka misses with an uppercut. Urutaka forces Walter back against the cage and clinches. Urutaka tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Walter's elbow. Walter working hard to break the clinch. Urutaka working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Walter wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Urutaka keeps control of Walter as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Urutaka is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Walter is trying to pull guard but Urutaka turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Urutaka has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Walter uses from the top position. Walter trying to control the position from guard on top but Urutaka is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Urutaka controlling the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Urutaka working for a triangle but Walter defends it easily.
Walter advances to half guard. Walter is working for a kimura but Urutaka is defending it quite comfortably.
Urutaka tries to kick Walter off but Walter keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Urutaka wants to improve his position but Walter is controlling well.
Walter seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Urutaka is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Mark Walter! Mark Walter decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
