Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Fallon Fox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Thawatchai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fox comes to the cage accompanied by Take a Walk on the Wild Side. Thawatchai has chosen Converter - Conqueror as his entrance music. Fallon Fox has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Fallon Fox! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tony Thawatchai! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Ian Loll and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Thawatchai tries to clinch up. Fox looks for a takedown but Thawatchai sprawls well. Thawatchai tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Thawatchai drops his hands momentarily and Fox takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Fox avoids the head kick by Thawatchai.
Thawatchai doesn't manage to clinch there - Fox circles away.
Thawatchai stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Thawatchai wants it to stay on the feet. Fox misses with an uppercut. Fox circles away from the clinch attempt.
Thawatchai displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Fox. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Fallon Fox. That's going to take a lot out of him. Thawatchai tries to clinch but Fox is having none of it. Fox throws a lazy right hand but Thawatchai sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Thawatchai pushes Fox up against the cage in a clinch. Thawatchai misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Fox.

Thawatchai lands an elbow inside. Fox wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Fox is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Thawatchai is defending well. Fox is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fox wants a takedown.
Thawatchai breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Thawatchai moves in looking to clinch but Fox pushes him off. Thawatchai lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Thawatchai fails in his attempt to clinch. Thawatchai scores with a spinning back kick! Thawatchai lets loose with a powerful body kick. Fox will feel that in the morning. Fox avoids a kick to the body.

Fox misses with a looping right. Thawatchai throws a sloppy head kick and Fox moves out of range easily. Thawatchai finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Fox scores with a jab. Fox cracks Thawatchai with a right hand to the side of the head. Thawatchai lands a head kick!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Thawatchai on the wrong end of a nice hook. A big left from Fox misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Thawatchai tries to clinch there but Fox circles away.
Thawatchai avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Fox lands a nice shot that snaps Thawatchai's head back.

Thawatchai closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Fox dives in and grabs Thawatchai's left leg, looking for a takedown. Thawatchai pushes down on Fox's head and hops out. Fox keeps the fight on the outside. Thawatchai throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Thawatchai throws a head kick but Fox moves out of range.

Thawatchai throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Fox sees it coming and avoids it easily. A looping hook to the body misses from Thawatchai. Fox does a little dance to reset his feet. Thawatchai throws a body punch but Fox moves out of range. Fox scores with a jab. Thawatchai wants to clinch. A head kick misses from Thawatchai. Fallon Fox seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fox looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Fox seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Thawatchai is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Fallon Fox! Fallon Fox spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
