Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Damien Satan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Victor Reinhardt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Satan comes to the cage accompanied by Bullet For My Valentine - Hit The Floor. Reinhardt has chosen On To The Next One as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reinhardt keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Satan.

Victor Reinhardt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Satan fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Nice takedown defense from Satan. No joy for Reinhardt on that attempt.

Reinhardt throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Satan bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Reinhardt's head.

Reinhardt does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Reinhardt shoots in looking for a takedown. Satan tries to sprawl out of it but Reinhardt keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Satan manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Reinhardt tries to bum rush Satan with a series of wild strikes but Satan uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Satan feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Reinhardt throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Satan escapes and throws Reinhardt's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Satan is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Reinhardt is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Satan postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Satan goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Reinhardt rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Satan's guard! Nice work there by Reinhardt!

Satan looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Reinhardt has picked Satan up and slammed him! Satan can't keep hold of the triangle and Reinhardt manages to pass to side control!

Reinhardt is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Satan knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Reinhardt looks up at the clock and then as Satan takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Reinhardt smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Reinhardt finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Satan's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Reinhardt falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!
