Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paulo Ganso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Barbados Slim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ganso comes to the cage accompanied by Dont stop Believing. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Slim shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Ganso's guard.

Slim takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Slim uses his free foot to push down on Ganso's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Ganso.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Barbados Slim hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Slim looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Ganso with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Ganso is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Well Slim has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
