PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rolls Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julle Kuikka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Wu-Tang Clan - The Mystery Of Chessboxin. On his way into the ring it seems that Rolls Gracie has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Rolls Gracie seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Roosa Järviläinen and Tarja Halkonen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie tries to close the distance and clinch but Kuikka swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Kuikka looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Gracie swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Julle Kuikka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gracie throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Gracie scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Kuikka shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Gracie as he avoids it easily.

Gracie gets a takedown into half guard.
Gracie drops an elbow to the side of Kuikka's head.
Gracie passes to full mount!
Gracie will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Gracie looking to control but Kuikka is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Gracie working away from the top, dropping strikes.

Kuikka is squirming around, avoiding Gracie's attempts to control the action.

Gracie throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Kuikka has his hands clasped together but Gracie breaks the hold and Kuikka is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Gracie!
