Demonic comes to the cage accompanied by The Rolling Stones - Sympathy for the Devil. Ray Je has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Demonic's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Je looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Demonic is fending him off so far but Je persists. Nope, Demonic circles away and we're back to standing. Je tries for a takedown but Demonic circles away easily and Demonic counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Sloppy strikes from Demonic. Those never looked like landing. Je throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Demonic's waist but Demonic gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Je off to one side. Demonic has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ray Je. Je shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Demonic as he avoids it easily. Je with a lazy takedown attempt and Je takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Demonic tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Je with a lazy takedown attempt and Demonic counters with a slapping leg kick. Je shoots and misses and Je takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Je closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Demonic did well to prevent Je getting side control. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Demonic moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Je wants to stand but Demonic is controlling his posture from full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Je trying to control the position from guard on top but Demonic is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Demonic will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Je accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Je postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Demonic is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Je, into his guard. Je working a defensive guard here.
Demonic wanted to stand there but Je had control of the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Je throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Demonic escapes and throws Je's legs to the side, diving into side control! Demonic decides to stand up, so the ref orders Je to his feet. No joy there for Demonic, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Je misses with a takedown attempt and Demonic counters with a stiff right hand. Je shoots and misses and Demonic counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Je with a lazy takedown attempt enabling Demonic to counter with a crisp jab. Demonic is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Je shoots and misses and Demonic counters with a slapping leg kick. Demonic listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Demonic is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Je shoots in for a takedown but Demonic shows good takedown defense. Je looks winded! Demonic getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Je moves out of range of the leg kick from Demonic. Je has his takedown stuffed and Demonic counters with a series of strikes. Je will be more careful next time no doubt.
Je is rocked! Je shoots and misses and Demonic counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Je shoots in but no luck this time. Je tries to clinch there but Demonic circles away.
Demonic lands the left hand. Je is still on wobbly legs! Can Demonic finish him? Je tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Demonic swivels and escapes. Je seems to have recovered his senses. Demonic is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. This has been an exciting period of action! Je checks a leg kick nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A head kick by Demonic - that's a beauty! Je is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Demonic can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
