The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blackmore connects with the punch.
Lesnar tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Blackmore paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Lesnar tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Blackmore manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Blackmore closes the distance and clinches up with Lesnar, looking for a takedown. Blackmore pushes Lesnar against the cage but Lesnar circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Lesnar misses with the combination.
Lesnar tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Blackmore lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Blackmore counters with a big uppercut that knocks Lesnar off his feet! Blackmore dives into side control looking to finish!

Lesnar is rocked!

It looks like Brock Lesnar has been cut.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Lesnar wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Lesnar avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Blackmore.
Lesnar is not content to let Blackmore control the position.
A big shot lands for Blackmore! That's hurt Lesnar! Will he recover? Blackmore fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
