Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alberto Pinto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Uno Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Alberto Pinto!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Uno Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Nard Betker and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson defending well as Pinto loads up on a big left hand.
Pinto misses with a straight right.
Johnson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Pinto is fending him off so far but Johnson persists. Nope, Pinto circles away and we're back to standing.
Johnson throws a series of strikes that have Pinto backpedaling.


It looks like Alberto Pinto has been cut.
Johnson digs a good hook to Pinto's body.
Johnson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Pinto as he jumps to the side.
Johnson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Johnson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Pinto looks to land a combination but Johnson avoids it well.
Johnson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Pinto avoids it really well and circles away.
Alberto Pinto has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Uno Johnson.
Johnson shoots in but no luck this time.
Pinto stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Pinto wants it to stay on the feet.

Pinto lands a jab.


It looks like Uno Johnson has been cut.
Pinto scores with a decent looking hook.
Pinto defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Johnson.
Pinto misses with a series of wild punches.
Pinto misses with an uppercut. Johnson saw that one coming.

Johnson moves into the clinch successfully.
Pinto is trying to push Johnson away but Johnson has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Pinto throws a head punch that misses.
Pinto is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Johnson is keeping busy.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Pinto.

Johnson jumps guard and drags Pinto to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Johnson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Johnson controls Pinto momentarily but Pinto frees himself.

Pinto wants to control from the top but Johnson keeps moving.
Pinto has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Johnson is looking to stand up but Pinto isn't so interested in that idea.
Pinto knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Johnson on the ground.
Johnson can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Pinto controls the pace.

Alberto Pinto has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Johnson looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Pinto!
Pinto tries to improve position but can't.

Johnson wants to control but Pinto is keeping him busy.

Johnson tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Johnson has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Johnson stands up and beckons Pinto to his feet.
Johnson throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Johnson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Nice defenses there by Johnson.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Uno Johnson dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Pinto lands with a cross.
A shot to the liver by Pinto. Beautiful body shot.
Pinto throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Johnson shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Pinto's guard.
Pinto can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Johnson controls the pace.
Pinto avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Pinto isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Johnson stacks Pinto on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Johnson!

Pinto is looking for a sweep.

Johnson tries for a kimura but Pinto is defending well.

Pinto is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Johnson is looking to take a break and control but Pinto is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Pinto is trying to work for a sweep but Johnson has mounted him!

Johnson struggling to keep hold of the position.
Johnson controls the action.
Johnson has the hooks in. Pinto is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Pinto looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Johnson is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

Pinto is in bad spot here.

Pinto lands a right hook to the body.
Pinto cracks Johnson with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
A right-left combo lands from Pinto.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Johnson is defended easily by Pinto.
Johnson fails to land the takedown.
Uno Johnson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Pinto scores with a body shot.
Pinto throws a jab but it's blocked by Johnson.
Johnson takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Pinto lands with a nice body punch.

A jab lands there for Pinto.

Pinto sends Johnson crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Pinto is motioning to the referee to let Johnson up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!


Johnson is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Johnson glances at the clock... BAM! Pinto nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Johnson crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Johnson is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Alberto Pinto!
