Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Nard Betker and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pelser has Hunt up against the cage in a clinch.
Pelser tries to break the clinch but Hunt is controlling the position.
Pelser pulls Hunt into guard.
Pelser striking off his back but it's not causing Hunt any problems.
Pelser is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Hunt trying to control the position from guard on top but Pelser is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Hunt stops Pelser from standing up.
Pelser throws his legs up looking for a submission but Hunt uses it to pass to side control.
Pelser is trying to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Pelser is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Hunt is controlling him well.
Pelser manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Hunt gets full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pelser is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Hunt is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Hunt has escaped and now he's on top!
Pelser is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Pelser keeping moving, preventing Hunt from controlling successfully.

Pelser looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Hunt prevents Pelser from getting back to his feet.
Pelser seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Pelser trying to keep a closed guard but Hunt is proving a slippery customer.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Hunt tries to close the distance and clinch but Pelser swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Hunt pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Hunt pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Hunt displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Pelser.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Pelser.
Hunt will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Hunt takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Hunt tries to clinch up but Pelser circles away and keeps his distance.
Hunt displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Pelser.

Pelser is breathing heavily.

Pelser thuds his right hand into Hunt's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Hunt tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Pelser just stands there and leans against the cage.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Hunt has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Pelser is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Hunt jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Pelser walks away with a smile on his face. Hunt gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Pelser shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hunt but Hunt pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Jab, jab by Pelser - just one landing.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hunt throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Hunt tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Pelser looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hunt is fending him off so far but Pelser persists. Nope, Hunt circles away and we're back to standing.
Pelser closes the distance and clinches up with Hunt, looking for a takedown. Pelser pushes Hunt against the cage but Hunt circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Hunt lands a high kick!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hunt clinches with his opponent.
Hunt drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Pelser gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Pelser wants to break the clinch but can't.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Quentin Pelser will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Hunt lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Hunt looks for a takedown but Pelser sprawls well.
Pelser throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Hunt stuffs the takedown.

A looping hook to the body misses from Pelser. Hunt does a little dance to reset his feet.
William Hunt seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Hunt changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Pelser tries to avoid it but Hunt manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Pelser to the ground. Pelser escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Hunt.
Hunt throws a head kick but Pelser moves out of range.
Hunt shoots in for a takedown but Pelser shows good takedown defense.
Quentin Pelser has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of William Hunt.
Pelser drives through and clinches with Hunt against the cage.
Pelser wants to break the clinch but can't.
Pelser is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Hunt is defending well.
Pelser will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Hunt up against the cage.
Hunt tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Pelser smiles and moves away.

Hunt's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Pelser wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Hunt's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Hunt tries to score a power double leg takedown but Pelser sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hunt somewhat.
Hunt misses with a head kick.

Pelser clinches with his opponent.
Pelser tries to pull guard but Hunt holds him up against the cage and eventually Pelser drops back down to his feet.
Pelser tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Hunt avoids it.
Hunt blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Pelser jumps guard but Hunt stands there with Pelser around his waist. Pelser gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Pelser pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Pelser throws a head punch that misses.
Hunt pulls guard.
Pelser wants to control from the top but Hunt keeps moving.
Pelser has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Hunt is proving hard to escape from.

Hunt has Pelser pulled in close to control his posture.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Pelser postures up in Hunt's guard and throws a big left but Hunt blocks it.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

That was a close second round but I would say that Quentin Pelser will probably get the nod.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
