Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Daniels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Veldrane Sengir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Daniels comes into the arena with X Gonna Give it to Ya blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, James Daniels! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Veldrane Sengir! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Alan Glass and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Daniels looks to clinch and Sengir counters with a nice double leg into guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Daniels being controlled here, momentarily. Sengir trying to control but Daniels is working from the bottom. Sengir throwing strikes from guard but Daniels blocks nicely. Sengir has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Sengir slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Veldrane Sengir. Sengir looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Sengir trying to pass the guard but Daniels defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sengir trying to control from Daniels's half guard. Daniels has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Daniels is looking for a triangle but Sengir pushes his legs off easily.
Sengir postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Sengir gets to his feet. Daniels looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Sengir shoots in and bounces Daniels off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Sengir stands and steps away. Daniels gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Daniels shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Sengir throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Daniels was covering up waiting for the punch and Sengir finishes the takedown easily into guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Sengir stays in close to Daniels's body and controls the position. Sengir decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Daniels, up you get! Daniels tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Sengir manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Daniels shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Sengir defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Daniels. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for James Daniels. That's going to take a lot out of him. Daniels fails with the takedown. Sengir shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Daniels napping and manages to drive through into side control! Sengir wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Daniels, who protects the arm well. Daniels takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sengir advances nicely into full mount. Sengir takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Daniels taking shots to the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Daniels tries to lock up and control but Sengir gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Sengir scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Daniels?
Sengir is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Daniels has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Sengir moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Daniels has worked his arm free - good work by Daniels!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Sengir moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Daniels is looking to regain half guard here but Sengir keeps moving and retains side control. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Daniels tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Sengir easily slips into full mount! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Veldrane Sengir dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Sengir is defended easily by Daniels. Daniels doesn't succeed with the takedown and Sengir counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Daniels prevents a takedown attempt there.
Daniels can't find room to land a body shot as Sengir controls the action.
Sengir has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Daniels after a bit of a struggle. James Daniels has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Veldrane Sengir. Daniels wants to take the fight to the mat but Sengir manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Sengir is defending well against a takedown attempt. Daniels gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Sengir.
Daniels is looking to take this one to the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sengir gets a trip takedown into half guard. Daniels is looking to control Sengir's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Daniels avoid being mounted? Daniels makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Daniels. Sengir wants to control from the top but Daniels keeps moving. Sengir stopping the sweep attempt from Daniels. Daniels managing to control the position. Sengir stays in close to Daniels's body and controls the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Sengir stopping the sweep attempt from Daniels. Sengir stands up and waves to Daniels to follow him. Sengir displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Daniels. James Daniels seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sengir shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Sengir is stalling here. Daniels is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Sengir seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Daniels has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Daniels wants to stand but Sengir has him controlled and pulls him back into his guard. Daniels looking to sit in guard and control but Sengir gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Sengir controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Daniels avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Daniels trying to keep a closed guard but Sengir is proving a slippery customer.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Sengir throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Daniels misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Daniels tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sengir swats him away and circles back towards the center. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Veldrane Sengir showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Daniels tries to clinch up. Sengir has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Daniels. Daniels tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Sengir shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Sengir closes the distance and clinches up with Daniels, looking for a takedown. Sengir pushes Daniels against the cage but Daniels circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Sengir drives through with a takedown into Daniels's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Sengir is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Daniels avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Daniels wants to stand and escape but Sengir is having none of it. Sengir trying to control but Daniels is working from the bottom. Sengir controlling from the top position. Veldrane Sengir has got the better of the ground game so far.

Veldrane Sengir has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Daniels clinches with his opponent.
Daniels stops a takedown attempt from Sengir.
James Daniels has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Veldrane Sengir. Daniels jumps into guard, dragging Sengir to the mat.
Sengir gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Daniels shoots in for a takedown but Sengir shows good takedown defense. James Daniels is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Sengir stuffs the takedown attempt from Daniels. Daniels gets slowly back to his feet. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Daniels throws a head kick that misses. Sengir fails with the takedown.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Daniels shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Sengir sprawls well. Sengir wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Daniels gets slowly back to his feet. Daniels circles away from the clinch attempt.
Sengir shoots and misses and Daniels counters with a nice double leg into half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Daniels is just content to waste time from the top position. Sengir takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Sengir has control of Daniels's left arm, preventing Daniels from doing any damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sengir keeping full guard, as Daniels tries to pass. Sengir looking for a sweep. Not yet Sengir, not yet. Veldrane Sengir is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Daniels wants to control from the top but Sengir keeps moving. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Daniels drops back, looking for a kneebar! Sengir looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Sengir looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Sengir! Daniels manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sengir wants to free his trapped foot but Daniels is holding on for dear life with his legs. Sengir is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Veldrane Sengir wasn't active enough on the ground. Daniels shoots and misses and Sengir counters with a shoot takedown. Daniels fights it but they end up in guard.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Veldrane Sengir. I've got Sengir winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
