Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Efrain Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Alivem Kroster!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Alan Glass and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva swinging wildly here.
Efrain Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silva rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kroster moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Kroster shoots in for a double leg but Silva sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Silva fails in his attempt to clinch.
Silva fails to land with a series of punches.
Silva throws a right and a left that both miss.
Kroster throws a low kick but it's checked well by Silva.
A head kick misses from Kroster.
Silva lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kroster circles away quickly and effectively.
Silva throws a right hand that Kroster ducks under and follows up with a left that Kroster also avoids with ease.
Silva lands a two punch combo.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kroster slips a jab and a cross from Silva.
Kroster has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Kroster feints and as Silva raises his hands in defense, Kroster changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Silva can't keep his opponent in guard - Kroster advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Kroster stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Silva to get to his feet.
Silva is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kroster closes the distance and clinches.
Kroster is trying to pull guard but Silva has him pressed against the cage.

Kroster gets control of Silva's arms and successfully pulls guard. Kroster will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Kroster wants to get back to his feet but Silva is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Kroster pulls Silva in close to his closed guard and prevents Silva from doing any damage or advancing position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.

The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Kroster looking for a triangle here. Silva is fighting it but it looks tight! Kroster pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Silva is tapping out - this one is all over!
