PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Denis Turk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fabio Adinolfi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adinolfi lands a jab to the nose.
Turk shoots in looking for a takedown but Adinolfi manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Turk's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Turk is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Turk drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Adinolfi dives on top into guard.

Turk can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Adinolfi controls the pace.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Fabio Adinolfi hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Turk has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Adinolfi finds it's way round the side to connect with Turk's head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Turk has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Adinolfi defend it? Turk steps over the head and cranks it - Adinolfi is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Turk!
