Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rambo Kawajiri!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fred Collins!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Chris Downing and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Collins.
Kawajiri shoots for a double leg takedown but Collins sprawls well. He's pushed Kawajiri's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

and Kawajiri takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.


It looks like Rambo Kawajiri has been cut.
Kawajiri gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Collins makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rambo Kawajiri. That's going to take a lot out of him.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kawajiri shoots in but no luck this time.
OH! Kawajiri has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Collins smells blood and charges in for the finish! Collins unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Kawajiri sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Fred Collins!
After the fight, Fred Collins was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
