Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Josie Marquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Blimm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Marquez might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to the most annoying Mexican polka music you have heard in your life. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Blimm manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Marquez on his heels. He'll look to pass Marquez's guard now, I'm sure.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Blimm trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Blimm working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Blimm wants to control from the top but Marquez keeps moving.

Marquez is looking for a sweep. Blimm is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Blimm thows a huge punch but Marquez dodges it nicely.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Blimm is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Marquez is just riding it out for now. Blimm eventually gives up the hold.
Blimm is looking to pass Marquez's guard but actually Marquez recovers to full guard.

Blimm has gone for a leg lock! Marquez slips out almost immediately though and dives into Blimm's guard.

Marquez scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Blimm doesn't seem bothered though.

Marquez throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Blimm stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Blimm pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Marquez back to the cage. Blimm follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

It looks like Josie Marquez has been cut.
Marquez rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Blimm moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Marquez missing with a left hand there. Blimm was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Marquez connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Blimm momentarily.

Marquez lands a nice hook to Blimm's body. Blimm takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Blimm tries to close the distance and clinch up but Marquez swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Blimm shoots in looking for a takedown. Marquez tries to sprawl out of it but Blimm keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Marquez manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Blimm stalks Marquez and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Marquez's face. Marquez staggers backwards, shaken.

Marquez flashes Blimm a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Blimm's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Blimm crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Marquez punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!
