Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Carl Draiman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Valdivius Tormentor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Valdivius Tormentor has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Tiny Johnson and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tormentor tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Draiman manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Draiman will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Draiman gets the takedown into side control.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Draiman remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Tormentor is in a horrible position here. Draiman smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Draiman prevents Tormentor from getting the reversal.

Tormentor is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Draiman postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Tormentor looks a forlorn figure.
Draiman lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Tormentor hang on?
Draiman scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Draiman has control of Tormentor's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Tormentor regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Tormentor has given up his back here.

So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.

Draiman tries to get the hooks in deep but Tormentor pushed the leg off.

Draiman slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

Draiman has good solid back control here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Draiman lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Tormentor.

Draiman fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Tormentor to the ground. Draiman is now in Tormentor's guard.
Draiman passes Tormentor's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Draiman throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Draiman is trying to control. Tormentor wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Draiman is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Tormentor is just riding it out for now. Draiman eventually gives up the hold.
Tormentor is looking to escape.

Draiman is controlling the pace.
Draiman seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Tormentor for as long as he can get away with.
Tormentor wants to get back to full guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Draiman prevents Tormentor from standing back up.
Tormentor is breathing heavily.

Tormentor is bucking up trying to escape but Draiman cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Draiman wants to stand but Tormentor is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.

Tormentor wants to hold on but Draiman pushes him away.

Draiman takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Draiman has the hooks in. Tormentor is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Draiman has got one arm under Tormentor's chin. This could be trouble... Tormentor trying to control the other hand but Draiman gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Tormentor has tapped out! The fight is over!

A relieved looking Carl Draiman thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
