Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Elias Jude!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Gwen Towbar and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good shot there by Sackett.
It looks like Elias Jude has been cut.
Jude wants to clinch but Sackett slips to the side
and Sackett counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Jude thinking.
Jude takes a shot to the body in his stride.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sackett throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Jude closes the distance but Sackett moves to the side
and Sackett counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Jude darts in trying to clinch
and Sackett counters with a stiff right hand.

and Sackett counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Jude thinking.
Sackett takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Sackett lands with a nice body punch.
Sackett lands a big right hand that sends Jude crashing to the mat! Sackett stays standing though and waves Jude back to his feet!
Jude is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

and Sackett counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Sackett circles away from the clinch attempt
and Sackett counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Jude thinking.
Jude seems to have recovered his senses.
Jude looks winded!
Jude gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Sackett gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Parmalee Sackett!
