The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fitch feints and as James raises his hands in defense, Fitch changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Fitch drops back looking for a leg! James is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and James manages to kick Fitch off! Fitch jumps back into James's guard.
Fitch trying to control but James is working from the bottom.
Fitch throws a big elbow that misses.

James really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fitch. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Fitch drops back looking for a leg! James is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and James manages to kick Fitch off! Fitch jumps back into James's guard.
Fitch keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of James's head.

Fitch seems to be looking for submissions.

Fitch looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
