Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lando Lager (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Noah Tillis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tillis has chosen How we do as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Lando Lager! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Noah Tillis! The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lager fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Lager drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Tillis wants to stand but Lager is controlling the position. Lager sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Tillis's guard. Tillis really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lager. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Lager is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Lager seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Tillis does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Lager wants to free his trapped foot but Tillis is holding on for dear life with his legs. Tillis moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Tillis not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Tillis had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Lager is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Tillis Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Lager's back instead. Tillis trying to control momentarily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lager tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Lager regains half guard. Lager wants to improve his position but Tillis is controlling well.
Lager is trying to control but Tillis manages to pass to mount!
Lager tries to lock up and control but Tillis gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Lager is breathing heavily. Lager is squirming around, avoiding Tillis's attempts to control the action. Tillis is working for a guillotine from mount but Lager frees his head quite easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Tillis avoids the attempt from Lager to control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lager tries to get back to half guard but can't. Tillis pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Lager is desperately trying to improve his position but Tillis has a good base and remains in mount. Tillis goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Lager turns into him and now he's in Tillis's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lager looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Lager passes Tillis's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Tillis desperately trying to maintain half guard. Lager is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Tillis is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
