The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ablett shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Jones is trying to defend but Ablett finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Jones tries to get to full guard but Ablett has control of the leg.
Jones might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Jones pushes Ablett off looking to stand but Ablett dives back in and keeps control.

Ablett closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Jones drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jones jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Jones is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Ablett looks calm but he's in trouble here. Jones gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Ablett is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Jones lets go of the hold and Ablett can pop his arm back in it's socket.
