Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between dmitri petrov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Beastley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beastley lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
It looks like dmitri petrov has been cut.
petrov shoots in but Beastley avoids the takedown attempt easily.
petrov takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Beastley closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Beastley lands in his opponent's guard.
Oh petrov is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
petrov is looking for a triangle but Beastley pushes his legs off easily.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Beastley throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.

Beastley is stalling here. petrov is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Beastley seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and petrov has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Beastley can't do much from the bottom here.
petrov has an Americana. Beastley didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! petrov is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if petrov hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
