Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chris Douglas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bill Ferrell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Douglas comes to the cage accompanied by Notorious B.I.G - Who shot Ya?. Ferrell has chosen Gators speech as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferrell has his takedown stuffed
and Douglas counters with a good low kick that Ferrell was not able to check.

Ferrell feints and as Douglas raises his hands in defense, Ferrell changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Ferrell controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Douglas working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Ferrell.
Douglas will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Douglas is looking to stand up but Ferrell isn't so interested in that idea.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ferrell can do anything to dispel that myth.

Douglas loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Ferrell scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Douglas land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Douglas stands and salutes the crowd.

Chris Douglas decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
