The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Fern sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Fern scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Gracie is trying hard to land a takedown here. Fern sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Fern lands a slapping body shot.
Fern changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Gracie is breathing heavily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Fern throws a shot to the body.
Fern misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Fern sends Gracie crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Fern is motioning to the referee to let Gracie up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

It looks like Roger Gracie has been cut.
Gracie drops his hands momentarily. Fern doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Gracie staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Gracie doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
