Peoples has chosen Party People by Nelly Featuring Fergie as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peoples loads up on a big right hand but Machiko slips the punch.
Machiko tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Peoples manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Peoples tries to clinch there but Machiko circles away.
Machiko looks to throw a body kick
and Peoples counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Peoples lands with a cross.
Peoples fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Machiko has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Machiko lands with a kick to the temple. Peoples shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

It looks like Cecil Peoples has been cut.

Machiko rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Peoples moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Machiko turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Machiko lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Peoples is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Peoples throws a nice looking combination but Machiko bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Peoples drops his hands momentarily and Machiko needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Peoples just on the top of the head. Peoples drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Peoples - he's done!
