2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jean Ben Faur! The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Seu Braga and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A momentary lapse in concentration from Andrade enables Ben Faur to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Andrade manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Andrade looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Ben Faur trying to control the position from guard on top but Andrade is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. It looks like Ben Faur might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

That's one minute gone in the round. Ben Faur wants to control from the top but Andrade keeps moving. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Ben Faur holds on and takes a little breather. Ben Faur looking for a sweep. Not yet Ben Faur, not yet.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Jean Ben Faur wasn't active enough on the ground. Ben Faur shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Andrade sprawls well. Andrade wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ben Faur gets slowly back to his feet. Andrade clinches.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Andrade tries to pull guard but Ben Faur forces him back to his feet, against the cage. A short right from Ben Faur. Ben Faur breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Andrade gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Ben Faur to score an easy takedown into full guard. Ben Faur drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Andrade manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Ben Faur has Andrade in his guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jean Ben Faur dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Andrade shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Andrade prevents Ben Faur from standing back up.
Ben Faur pushes Andrade off and gets back to his feet. Andrade takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Ben Faur shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Andrade manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Ben Faur drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ben Faur jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ben Faur trying to control the position from guard on top but Andrade is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ben Faur avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Ben Faur passes Andrade's left leg - he's now in half guard. Ben Faur gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Ben Faur rushes Andrade and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ben Faur breaks from the clinch.
Ben Faur looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Andrade lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Andrade tries for a takedown but Ben Faur circles away easily and Ben Faur moves into the clinch. Ben Faur taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Andrade jumps guard but Ben Faur turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Ben Faur manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Ben Faur has his foot on Andrade's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Andrade works his way back into a safe position though. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Ben Faur trying to control the position.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Jean Ben Faur. Ben Faur changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Andrade tries to avoid it but Ben Faur manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Andrade to the ground. Andrade escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Andrade lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Andrade. Ben Faur looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Jean Ben Faur has got the better of the ground game so far. Ben Faur wants to lay and pray for a moment but Andrade keeps working.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ben Faur with the ground and pound but Andrade uses the opportunity to regain guard. Ben Faur slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Andrade wants to control but Ben Faur postures up. Andrade gets back to half guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Andrade manages to get to full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jean Ben Faur showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Both fighters are breathing heavily. Ben Faur lands a head kick!

Ben Faur gets control of Andrade's arms and successfully pulls guard. Ben Faur will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Ben Faur has clasped his hands together around Andrade's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Andrade tries to improve position but can't. Ben Faur decides to take the fight back to the feet. This has been an exciting period of action! Ben Faur closes the distance and clinches. Ben Faur has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Andrade uses from the top position. Andrade wants to control from the top but Ben Faur keeps moving. Ben Faur throws his legs up looking for a submission but Andrade uses it to pass to side control.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Ben Faur tries to escape but Andrade is in control. Ben Faur can't do much from the bottom here. Ben Faur is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Andrade asserts his dominance and retains side control. Ben Faur tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Andrade easily slips into full mount!

Ben Faur is desperately trying to improve his position but Andrade has a good base and remains in mount. And that's the end of the fight! Jean Ben Faur comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Ben Faur has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Jean Ben Faur! Jean Ben Faur really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Dragon logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
