Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ethan Riley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jobe Ballentine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ethan Riley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jobe Ballentine! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Robert Twigg and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Riley shoots in for a takedown but Ballentine shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Ballentine fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Riley to the ground. Ballentine is now in Riley's guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Ballentine pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Riley is keeping the position for now. Riley wants to stand and escape but Ballentine is having none of it. Ballentine sitting in guard, not really doing much. Ballentine with a nice head shot there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Riley is looking to stand up but Ballentine isn't so interested in that idea. Ballentine sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Riley's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ballentine controlling the pace. Ballentine scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Ballentine performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Ballentine's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
That's two minutes gone in the round. It looks like Ballentine might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Ballentine uses his free foot to push down on Riley's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Riley. Ballentine takes Riley's back. Riley trying to get back to his feet but Ballentine is in full control for now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ballentine is riding his opponent, not letting Riley buck him off. Ballentine lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Riley.
I would not like to be Riley right now.
Ballentine has got one arm under Riley's chin. This could be trouble... Riley trying to control the other hand but Ballentine gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Riley has tapped out! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Jobe Ballentine!
