Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jose Da Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alois Wutawanashe!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Da Silva shoots in for a takedown but Wutawanashe shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Wutawanashe closes the distance and pushes Da Silva back into the cage.
Wutawanashe will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Da Silva up against the cage.

Wutawanashe's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Wutawanashe closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Da Silva quickly recovers to half guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Da Silva is trying to control but can't.
Wutawanashe prevents Da Silva from standing back up.
Da Silva wants to control but Wutawanashe is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Da Silva slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Wutawanashe wants to control from the top but Da Silva keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wutawanashe sitting in guard, not really doing much.

Da Silva trying to control the position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Wutawanashe closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Da Silva quickly recovers to half guard.

Wutawanashe really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Da Silva. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Wutawanashe is keen to just control but Da Silva is a slippery customer.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Da Silva wants to improve his position but Wutawanashe is controlling well.
Da Silva is trying to control but can't.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Wutawanashe not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Da Silva is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Da Silva has momentary wrist control but Wutawanashe slips an elbow through the middle.
Da Silva is looking to stand up but Wutawanashe isn't so interested in that idea.
Da Silva is breathing heavily.

Wutawanashe is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Da Silva wants to stand and escape but Wutawanashe is having none of it.
Da Silva preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Wutawanashe is looking to advance position but Da Silva has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Da Silva avoids the attempt from Wutawanashe to control.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Wutawanashe is trying to escape the mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Alois Wutawanashe dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Da Silva darts in trying to clinch
and Wutawanashe counters with a nice body shot.
Da Silva lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Wutawanashe circles away quickly and effectively.
Wutawanashe looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Da Silva throws a nice looking combination but Wutawanashe bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Da Silva gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Wutawanashe to score an easy takedown into full guard.


Da Silva is rocked!
Wutawanashe chips away with some ground and pound.
Oh Da Silva is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Alois Wutawanashe has got the better of the ground game so far.

Wutawanashe decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Wutawanashe feints with a left and delivers a massive head kick! Da Silva collapses like a ragdoll! Game over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Alois Wutawanashe!
