Foster's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Lynyrd Skynrd - Sweet Home Alabama. Wood comes into a darkened arena with his song building. 1 hitta quitta 3 6 mafia kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Foster moves away from the strike by Wood.
Foster pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Foster pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Wood lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Wood throws a quick inside leg kick.
Foster tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Wood throws a leg kick but Foster checks it.
Foster tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Foster is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Wood lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Foster can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Wood and Foster drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Wood.
