Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Michael Vronsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hector Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hector Williams told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
24 - 15 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Michael Vronsky! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hector Williams! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, William Peck and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jab by Vronsky. Vronsky throws a right and a left that Williams avoids nicely. Vronsky misses with a left hand and Williams makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Williams throws a low kick, looking for Vronsky's leg but Vronsky calmly moves out of range. Vronsky has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Williams. A slapping leg kick lands for Williams.
The crowd cheers as Vronsky lands an impressive looking overhand right. Williams doesn't seem phased though. Williams throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Vronsky misses the shot to the body. Vronsky takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Vronsky misses the shot to the body. Hector Williams seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Vronsky closes this distance looking for a takedown but Williams circles away. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Williams does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Nice sprawl there from Williams as Vronsky shoots in. Nice straight punches there by Williams. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Williams. Williams looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

Williams throws a low kick but it's checked well by Vronsky. Williams connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Williams is looking to score with low kicks. Vronsky throws a body punch but Williams moves out of range. Vronsky takes a kick to the side of the head. Williams misses with a low kick.
Williams tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Vronsky is able to avoid easily. Vronsky looks to land a left hand but Williams moved out of range nicely. Vronsky takes a swing at Williams's ribcage but misses. Vronsky keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A jab from Williams misses. Nice body kick there by Williams. Williams finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Williams tried to score with a low kick but Vronsky checks it. A nice leg kick lands there from Williams. Vronsky throws a right and a left that Williams avoids nicely. Williams connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Vronsky momentarily.

Vronsky walks forward, straight into a front kick from Williams. Hector Williams is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Vronsky with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Williams to score with a decent uppercut. Vronsky on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Williams fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Williams takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Williams gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Vronsky to score an easy takedown into full guard. Vronsky postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Vronsky throws a big elbow that misses. Williams controls Vronsky momentarily but Vronsky frees himself. Vronsky passes Williams's left leg - he's now in half guard. Vronsky thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Williams's head. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Williams wants to improve his position but Vronsky is controlling well.
Vronsky not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hector Williams dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Williams swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Williams lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Vronsky has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Vronsky and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Williams dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Vronsky. That did some damage! Williams defending well as Vronsky loads up on a big left hand. Vronsky scores with a punch to the head. Williams attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Williams wants to land a leg kick but Vronsky is out of range. The fighters circling - Williams throws out the jab but it was never going to land. A nice inside leg kick there by Williams. That's going to slow Vronsky down. Vronsky throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Williams sees it coming and avoids it easily. Vronsky chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Williams can pounce on him.

Vronsky has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Williams. Vronsky misses the shot to the body. Vronsky ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Williams moves away. A good leg kick by Williams. A solid body kick from Williams. Williams with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

and Williams counters with a slapping leg kick. Williams throws a head kick that misses. Williams throws an overhand right that lands on Vronsky's shoulder, as Vronsky tries to avoid the shot. Hector Williams seems to be getting the better of the standup. Williams throws a quick inside leg kick. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Williams chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Vronsky throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Nice shot lands for Williams. Williams thumps Vronsky with a low kick. Williams with a jab. Williams lets loose with a powerful body kick. Vronsky will feel that in the morning. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Nice body punch from Williams. Vronsky will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body. A head kick from Williams lands but Vronsky takes it in his stride.

Williams throws a low kick, looking for Vronsky's leg but Vronsky calmly moves out of range. Vronsky tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Williams was well out of range. Poor timing from Vronsky. Williams fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Vronsky has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Williams throws the left hand but Vronsky avoids the punch easily. Williams moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Vronsky takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Vronsky is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Williams swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Williams keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Williams throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Williams lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Williams lands with a kick to the temple. Vronsky shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! An inside leg kick lands from Williams. Vronsky looks to land a right hand but Williams moved out of range. Nice shot lands for Williams. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hector Williams showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Williams managing to control the position. Williams bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Vronsky's guard. Vronsky wants to improve his position but instead Williams has moved into half guard.
Williams wants to stand but Vronsky has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Michael Vronsky has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

And that's the end of the fight! Hector Williams comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Williams has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
